Mountain Bike

The possibilities are also endless for lovers of mountain biking, from simple, shorter routes with less steep climbs for amateurs to more demanding routes requiring strong technical skills and physical condition, but all with a common denominator: incomparable natural beauty.

Multiple tours, hiking trails and high mountain paths are available for the more adventurous. The hotel reception can provide more information.

If you like climbing, the region (Rapún, Escarrilla ...) has a lot of different options whatever your level of ability.

Ravines and gorges

The Tena Valley offers great opportunities for this, from the classic descent of the Gorgolto the more unusual but fun Rutaviesas ravine passing through the Forronías ravine or Escarrilla gorge.

Horse riding

Several horse riding centres near the hotel organise horseback excursions. Our reception team can inform you in greater detail if you are interested in organising a very special day.

Cultural excursions

Sabiñánigo is the most important town in the region historically known as El Serrablo, noted for its Mozarabic and Romanesque buildings. The historic quarter of the original town has been declared a Cultural Heritage.

Historically, all along the Gallego river a number of Roman villas were built, among them the current Sabiñánigo. Later, at the beginning of the Middle Ages, the Muslim governor of Huesca decided that between the tenth and eleventh centuries the “Serrablés” Moorish style should be developed in the region of Serrablo, of which Sabiñanigo is the capital. The churches and buildings from this period along with other Romanesque constructions form an architectural heritage which is unique in the world, known as the "Route of Serrablo".

The Route of Serrablo is made up a remarkable group of fourteen churches, all of them located on the left bank of the river Gallego. The hotel reception team can give you more information on this wonderful sight.
